Compatibility with Wine in Linux OS

As you probably know, Wine is a Windows emulator in various flavors of Linux. (I'm using Ubuntu, for instance.)

Everyone who has tried KeynoteNF and has switched from Windows to Linux, definitely misses Keynote NF. Some do dual boots solely for Keynote NF.

That said, the original Keynote works reasonably well in Ubuntu. Keynote NF does not. So I'm back to using the old version in Ubuntu, but I, and many others, would really appreciate being able to use Keynote NF in a Linux environment. All that's required is compatibility with Wine, as so many other Windows programs.

I know it and I will try to see what is the problem that prevents you from using normally KeyNote NF the way you used KeyNote.

I like Unix as a SO, and long ago I had it installed. But currently all the applications I am used to use and all the developments I do corresponds to Windows SO.
I currently have Windows XP, and haven't moved to Windows 7, yet. But at the same way I resolved the issue related to Windows 7 that affected to hyperlinks (installed W7 in a virtual machine) I will probably do with Linux. Recently I downloaded a version of Ubuntu.

When I have that Linux installed I will be able to see how KeyNote NF behaves.

Anyway, can you recopilate, briefly, the problems you observe with KeyNote NF and Wine? At least, relate the issues reported.
Another thing, what should I know to install Wine? What pages should I visit and read before install it?

I find the best way to run windows applications in Linux is to run them via windows in virtual box, this does away with any compatibility issues you may encounter
that is assuming you have a windows to install in it.
