In response to Francesco: yes, I will try to tell from time to time how is the project situation, what I'm doing. I think that with this forum it will be easier to me.Reported by stuart_mason, Apr 29, 2010

I'd really like to know more about future plans... really curious about this project,
KN is been the best PIM I ever used and never found a better substitute.

Me too. I'm using it everyday and it's very useful. I check this site often and i see
people posting issues, suggestions. Many times i wonder if the project is still
developed. I really hope the author would drop some lines just to inform us on what
we have to expect.

Hi! Would also like to know if this is still being developed as I just discovered
this yesterday.
I'd like to help with development as I have time but I don't have access to Delphi
2006. I'll have a go and see if I can compile it in Lazarus - has anyone tried this
already?

Hello
Sorry if actually I don't participate actively answering to your questions and
issues, but there are so many and I have so little time.
KeyNote is a tool very important to me, and so I will go on improving it. First I
will correct the errors that are being identified, then new features will be added.
Anyway, as I always said when I shared this work on KeyNote, I have a great interest
in constructing a new tool (TESELA), this one in .NET where I feel more confortable
writing in that environment and, what is more important, writing the application with
a more extensible a flexible architecture.
Thats said, I want and NEED a tool like KeyNote, and I'm conscious of many
necessaries improvements. I'll work in KeyNote but also on the other project. I don't
want to lose the functionality nor the velocity of actual KeyNote, but I want more
features, some of them expensive to construct over KeyNote (because of its architecture).
I will continue sharing the new features and improvements, over KeyNote or TESELA (or
both), so dont worry.
Actually I have created and uploaded a library in .NET, RestrictedUI (here in Google
Code: http://code.google.com/p/restricted-ui/). Perhaps some of you, being .NET
developers, can find it useful. I'm translating it to English and ultimating an
article to publish in CodeProject.
Afterwards, I'll continue with the correction of errors identified in KeyNote NF,
some of them related to Windows 7. I use Windows XP but I recently could verify that
it seems that in Windows 7 KeyNote NF is not using the MSFTEDIT.DLL or there is
something wrong with it. So I will install Windows 7 in a virtual machine and try to
resolve that problem.
When all the defects are corrected I'll be alternating between KeyNote NF and TESELA.
Thanks to all of you for your interest
Regards
Daniel

Daniel does this mean we will get the next update soon?
Comment 6 by dpradov, May 15, 2010
Yes, I think so
Comment 7 by stuart_mason, May 15, 2010
thank you!

just one last comment - "please enable printing of alarms" in you next update. I
have hundreds of alarms set and you alarm window is so small I can't read it.
Printing this screen & being able to enlarge the alarm window WOULD BE GREAT!
thank you again!
